Welcome to RRRWS’s website! We have finally updated this site as of May 5th! Thank you for your patience and understanding. Emergencies: RRRWS staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week to respond to outages and other emergency situations. Billing concerns need to be addressed to office staff during regular business hours. Regular business hours are 8 am—5 pm Monday-Friday. Latest News: · Jackson/Nobles Project: As of May 5th, we have 80+ new sign ups. The next regularly scheduled RRRWS board meeting is Thursday, May 7th. At that board meeting, we will discuss the project, and when to hold subsequent informational meetings for those who could not attend the meetings in April. · 2005-2006 Expansion Project Cleanup: The cleanup of construction areas has begun! Currently rock picking is taking place in the fields in the northwestern portion of our system until the ditches are ready. The plan is the have the cleanup complete within the next three to four weeks. (Completed by June 2008) · Staff and Board Changes. RRRWS has seen several changes in staff and Board composition in the last couple of years. · Amber Determan has come back in 2007 from a ten year sabbatical as our bookkeeper. (She was employed from 1993-1997) · Glen Friedrich has come on board in 2007 as a RRRWS commissioner to represent Watonwan County. · Jay Mickelson has come on board in 2005 as a RRRWS commissioner to represent Jackson County. · John Baerg, a commissioner since RRRWS conception, retired from the Board effective September 24, 2006. John-Thank you for your service! · Kelli Daberkow, GIS/GPS Specialist accepted a position with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency in Marshall. Her resignation from full-time employment was effective November 1, 2006. · Jim Fredin, a commissioner since RRRWS conception, retired from the Board. He led the Board through several projects and changes through the years. Thank you to Jim for his years of service! · Steve Iverson, resigned at the beginning of 2006. He served as Treasurer on the Board. Steve’s intuition and commitment to the system will be missed. · The Consumer Confidence Report is published yearly that documents the water quality of the Red Rock Rural Water System wells. · A newsletter was published in November.
