Highwater and Old Westbrook both
belong to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).
Highwater and Old Westbrook
are joint parishes. We share the same pastor, and we have joint services during
the season of Lent and at Thanksgiving. Confirmation classes are also held
together. Our pastor is Michael Stangeland. We welcome you to join us on Sunday
morning.

Bible Camp Cleaning at Shetek Lutheran Ministries.
9:00 a.m. till noon. Old Westbrook ladies have extended the
invitation to Highwater, English and St. Olaf to join us in a morning of
cleaning at the camp. The camp provides cleaning supplies so all that is
needed is your willing bodies to come and help spruce up the camp! Coffee
and rolls will be ready when you arrive.

Luther League will be having a fundraiser
to raise money for the youth trip to New Orleans the summer of 2009. We will be passing out forms for
Greenwood Nursery. It will be the
week of May 4-11. We will get 10%
of your purchase donated back to us.
You have to present a form for us to get credit. They will not have them in the

Saviors Lutheran Women’s group on Tuesday, May 13th at 7:30 p.m. for
laughter and fellowship. The
entertainment for the evening is “Granny L”. She mixes humor with a serious

8th with the number of ladies who will attend. (A poster of the event is placed in each
