Link to Ultimate FitnessAccounting I (Juniors/Seniors)This course is designed for the student to get a basic understanding of double entry accounting and the accounting cycle. Double entry accounting will be addressed during this course through problems in the chapters and personal or group work doing practice sets. This course is recommended for all students. Accounting II (Seniors that completed Accounting I)This course is designed for students interested in the advances study of accounting. Principles are taught utilizing both a manual accounting system and QuickBooks, a computerized accounting system, which is one of the most popular business accounting software applications used by small businesses. Business Law (Juniors/Seniors)The purpose of Business Law is to provide the student with an introduction to their basic legal rights and responsibilities. Students will learn to apply their knowledge in their everyday roles as consumers, citizens, and workers. Business Technology (Juniors/Seniors)This course provides students with the advanced technical skills needed to be successful in today's business environment. Areas of study will include graphic design, desktop publishing, scheduling of appointments, electronic presentations, electronic student portfolios and advanced functions and integrated applications of word processing, spreadsheets, and data base. This course is recommended for all students. Computer (9th Grade)This year long class will focus on computer applications of word processing, spreadsheets, presentations/slideshows, desktop publishing, and web pages. Students will use a scanner and digital camera. Computers are operating on Windows XP and will use Office XP software. Keyboarding (7th Grade)The purpose of this course is for 7th graders to achieve sufficient keyboarding skill to be able to operate the machines by touch. They will master correct techniques of position and fingering. Students will work to attain optimum speed and accuracy according to their individual capabilities. Computers are operating on Windows XP and will use Word XP.
