Luther League will be having a fundraiser to raise money for the youth trip to New Orleans the summer of 2009. We will be passing out forms for Greenwood Nursery. It will be the week of May 4-11. We will get 10% of your purchase donated back to us. You have to present a form for us to get credit. They will not have them in the store. Highwater Sunday School
Picnic will be held Sunday, May 18 at Kuhar
Park with church services beginning at 10:30. A potluck dinner will
follow. In case of rain or inclement weather, it will be held at
Highwater Church.

Reception at Old Westbrook. Graduate, Hailey Lohre, will be honored during the worship service.
Everyone is welcome to join Hailey and her family for fellowship and cake
following the worship service. This event is being sponsored by the Women
of the ELCA.
Thursday, May 22 Bible Camp Cleaning at Shetek
Lutheran Ministries. 9:00 a.m. till noon. Old Westbrook ladies have
extended the
invitation to Highwater, English and St. Olaf to join us in a morning of
cleaning at the camp. The camp provides cleaning supplies so all that is
needed is your willing bodies to come and help spruce up the camp! Coffee
and rolls will be ready when you arrive.
Great Outdoor Lutheran Fundraiser (G.O.L.F.) is on Monday June 23 at the Slayton Country Club. G.O.L.F. is an invitation to all friends and supporters of Shetek Lutheran Ministries to enjoy a day on the links at the Slayton Country Club and support your camp.
