Our golf team had a busy week planned, but the weather had different plans for us. On Monday the boy's meet was held with some of the best weather we have had this season. Thursday's meet with Jackson County Central due to them needing to make up a conference event. Friday's meet was cancelled due to weather and a wet golf course. On Friday the Jr high got to golf at Westbrook.
The meet on Monday was a win for the Falcons as they defeated Hills/Beaver Creek. The Falcons won by scoring a 186 to HBC's 222. Blake Walker was the medalist for the meet with a 42. Matt Fox was 2nd low for the meet with a 45. Also scoring for the Falcons was Jordan Vollmer with a 47 and Jordan Smith with a 52.
On Friday the Falcons Jr High team traveled to Westbrook for their first meet of the year. Darren Kronbach Finished 3rd in the Boys meet with a 54. No team scores were kept during the meet. All of our Jr High will play again at a rescheduled meet in Tracy on Thursday.
This next week will be a busy on with a home match with WWG on Monday as a warmup for Tuesday and the Red Rock Conference Meet which will be in Worthington at Prairie View Golf Links. On Thursday the Falcons finish off the regular season at Westbrook. Tournament Season is upon us. Good Luck to both our Girls and Boys teams!
