           The Falcons Boys and Girls golf teams had a busy week. We started the week Monday in Windom with all squads participating. The Boys lost to the always solid Windom team by a score of 163 to 187. The Falcons were led by Tyler Erickson with a 45. Collin Nickel shot a 46, Jordan Smith 47, and George Rogotzke 48 rounded out the scorers for the Falcons. The medalist for the boys meet was Nick Eisenmeyer of Windom with a 39. The girls Lost to Windom by a score of  201 to 250. The falcons were led by Alison Kircher with a 52 and Jenna Smith with a 54. Shelby Moreland and Jaycee Nelson rounded out the scoring with 70 and 74 respectively. The medalist for the girls meet was Megan Will of Windom with a 47

    On Tuesday the Boys traveled to Lakefield to make up the meet with Southwest United that was postponed from the week before. The meet was made into a triangular with Worthington added to the meet. The Falcons came out on top by edging out the other two teams with scores of; RRC 183, Worthington 185, and Southwest United 189. Leading the scoring for the Falcons was Tyler Erickson with a 45 for the second meet in a row. Also scoring for the Falcons were Collin Nickel, George Rogotzke, and Jake Fredrickson, all scoring 46's. Seith Meier of Worthington scored a 39 to win the medalist honors for the meet.

    Thursday both the boys and girls team were able to play on their home course in Sanborn as they hosted Luverne  and Southwest Christian. The boys split by losing to Luverne, but defeating Southwest Christian. Team scoring was Luverne 171, RRC 191, and Southwest Christian 211. Scoring for the Falcons were Collin Nickel 44, George Rogotzke 47, Jordan Smith 50 and Cory Engen 50. Medalists for the meet were teammates Ben Nath and Brandon Klein of Luverne. In the girls meet the Falcons ended up third with team scores of Southwest Christian 217, Luverne 227, and RRC with a score of 248. Scoring for the Falcons were Alison Kircher with a 51, Jenna Smith 55, Jamie Gibson 69 and Shelby Moreland 73. The medalist for the meet was Jenny Vanderveen of Southwest Christian.

    The Falcons will have a very busy week starting with the girls traveling to Fulda on Monday for a triangular with Fulday and Murray County Central. Tuesday the Falcons travel to Springfield with both boys and girls squads. Thursday both the boys and girls squads take on Worthington in Sanborn with all squads participating. Friday Springfield comes to town to finish off the week as both A and B boys and the girls team will play. Both squads are showing improvement and depth as several different golfers are scoring for both squads. Good luck to all of our golfers this week as they head out on to the course to represent Red Rock Central.
