    John Oeltjenbruns has been a county commissioner since 1993.  He servers as the commissioner for district #5.  His district has the townships of Midway and Mountain Lake.
    John serves on the Brown-Nicollet-Cottonwood County Joint Powers Agreement Board of Directors, Minnesota Noxious Weeds Appeals Board, Minnesota River Basin Projects, Blue Earth River Basin Initiative Board, Land Use Advisory Committee, South Central Minnesota 13 Counties Comprehensive Water Planning Project, the Travel Southwest Minnesota/Brown-Nicollet- Cottonwood County Clean Water Partnership, the Family Services Pre Placement Board, and County Ditch Authority.
