There are 12 clubs with 200 members in Cottonwood County. About 20 years ago there use to be about 18 clubs with 700 members thathas shrank over the years. Cottonwood County Fair is held August 4th-8th. The carnival at the fair is made up of different companies. The fair is funded by the community, the 4-H clubs, businesses, and by the people that come to enjoy the fair. There is a 4-H food stand that is run by the clubs of the county.
