Red Rock Central District No. 2884

Tuesday, December 30, 2003

A special meeting of the Board of Education, District No. 2884, was held in the Board Room in Lamberton on Tuesday, December 30, 2003. Members present were: Clarke, Derickson, Gransee, Imker, Meyer, and Myers. Mattison was absent. Administrative Assistant Olson and Denise Clarke were also in attendance.

Chairman Gransee called the meeting to order at 8:30 p.m.

Upon motion of Clarke, seconded by Myers to set the 2003 payable 2004 levy at the maximum or $286,267.62. Voting yes: Derickson, Myers, Meyer, Clarke, Imker, and Gransee. Voting no: None. Motion carried 6-0.

Discussion was held on the following items: Open gym, Superintendent’s salary, athletics, wellness facility, handrails in the gymnasiums, CRTC, MSHSL sports, and good comments directed at our Junior High boys basketball team and coach.

The meeting was declared adjourned by Chairman Gransee at 9:33 p.m.
