Superintendent Brennan made reference to a request from three parents last month concerning the need for bus supervision because of the poor behavior of the students. Prior to the last board meeting, Superintendent Brennan met with bus drivers and a few bus assignment changes of the students were made. Those changes did have a positive impact on the bus routes. Superintendent Brennan also met with the route drivers before the December board meeting and the drivers thought it wasn't necessary to assign additional people at this time. Steve Grunewald was in attendance and represented the route drivers. It is recommended that the District postpone assigning paid or volunteer personnel to supervise during bus routes.
