No. 2884
A Special Meeting of the Board of Education,
District #2884, was held in the Lamberton Board Room on
Chairman Derickson called the meeting to order at
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Upon motion of Moldan, and seconded by Mattison to
adopt the following resolution:
BE
IT RESOLVED by the School Board of Independent School District No. 2884 as
follows:
It is hereby found, determined, and declared that the
general election of the voters of the district held on
The ballot count is as follows: Precinct 1 – four year term – Alan J. Clarke
- 450 votes, 8 write-in ballots; Precinct 1 – two year term – Ron Kelsey - 396
votes, 36 write-in ballots; Precinct 2 – four year term – Judy Westerman - 509
votes, 7 write-in ballots; Precinct 3 – four year term – William Rogotzke - 46
write-in votes, write-in votes for 26 other individuals totaling 65 votes.
Newly elected Board Members Alan J.
Clarke, Ron Kelsey, Judy Westerman, and William Rogotzke will take office as
soon as possible after
The school district clerk is hereby
authorized to certify the results of the election to the county auditor of each
county in which the school district is located in whole or in part.
Upon roll call vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mattison, Kelsey, Westerman, Clarke, Moldan, and Derickson;
And the following voted against the
same: None;
Myers was absent;
Whereupon said resolution, having
received the affirmative votes of two-thirds of the members, was declared duly
passed and adopted.
