Elementary has had a busy month and look forward to our MEA break. The month of October is National Anti
Bullying Awareness Month. October 10th
was National Anti Bullying Awareness Day.
Each child in school wore an orange yarn bracelet for the day. Orange is the color for Anti Bullying
Awareness. We continue each day with the
3rd and 4th graders messages on Anti Bullying being read
over the intercom. October 8-12 was Fire
Prevention Week. Preschool through 1st

grade received a Fire Prevention packet from the Lamberton fire
department. There was a boy and girl
winner from each class for the fire safety poster contest/color contest. Kindergarten and 1st grade colored
a picture and 2nd through 4th grade made posters. The student council came up with the rules
and also judged the pictures. They
announced the winners and presented them with pencils. The posters are being displayed on the wall
by the library. We also had a fire drill
on Wednesday the 10th.
Homecoming was a fun week. Monday
was hat and shades day; Tuesday was class color day; Wednesday was PJ day;
Thursday was stuffed animal day and Friday was school colors day. The parade was great. Everyone had a great time. There were a few things to work out for next
year if we are able to participate again.
Thanks for allowing us to come.
