Red Rock Central District No. 2884

A special workshop meeting of the Board of Education, District No. 2884, was held in the Board Room in Lamberton on Monday, January 9, 2012. Members present were: Bierl, Clarke, Erickson, Johnson, Rogotzke, and Stavnes. Kelsey was absent. Superintendent Brennan, Principal Goetstouwers, Lead Teacher Riley, Sharon Furth, Deb Altermatt, Mary Shaner, Leonard Runck, and Derek Stevenson were also in attendance.

Chairman Rogotzke called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

The Board discussed the District’s finances.

It was recommended by Superintendent Brennan that all attempts should be made to not reduce additional staff at this time. As of this date, the only reduction would probably be 1 music position for the coming school year.

Upon motion of Clarke, seconded by Johnson and unanimously carried, to adjourn at 8:51 p.m.
