Mr. Hanson has taught Physical Sciences (9th Grade Science, Chemistry & Physics) at Red Rock Central High School since the fall of 1998.  Scott graduated from Fargo North Senior High School, Fargo, North Dakota in 1988.  He went on to North Dakota State University to study science education.  He graduated in 1993 with a B.S. in Education with a Physical Science major and Biology major.  Scott taught high school science at Neche, North Dakota from 1993 to 1995, Sheldon, North Dakota from 1995 to 1996 and then taught at the Prairie Learning Center from 1996 to 1998.
