Altermatt, in December of 1972. 
They live on a farm near Wanda, with
the youngest of their five children. If you would like to know more about them click on their
names. Amber, Joe, Lacie, Melissa, Eric. They also have a dog
Macy (but no cats, since Peter hates them!) running around. They raise pigs on their
farm and have three cows. Peter farms about 700 acres with two brothers,
Tom and John.
Her
oldest daughter, Amber, is married to Doug Condon and lives in Cottage Grove,
MN. They have one son, Eli, who was born in Nov. of 2004. He spends
lots of time with Grandma and Grandpa on the farm--and we all love it!
Joe is 26 years old and lives in a new home he built (with much help from his dad) by LeSueur, MN. You can see the giant billboard of the Jolly Green Giant from his house! He works for a small air-quality company, doing asbestos & mold control checks, out of Mankato.
Lacie, now 24, lives in St. Louis Park. She is currently completing her
Master's Degree at St. Cloud
State, and will attain a degree in Preschool Special Education. She looks
forward to being done with school by fall of 2006.
Missa is a sophomore at St. Thomas University, pursuing a degree in either pharmacy or optometry.
Eric, a sophomore at RRC, is enjoying three sports--and a full class load to keep him busy.
Mel graduated from St. Scholastica in 1973, with a degree in English education and a minor in German.
She has been working on finishing the degree in German, and expects to complete
it this year (only one test to go!).

She has been to Germany six times with students (in 1993,1995,1997, 1999, 2001,
and 2003) and is tentatively planning on going again in the summer of 2007 with
a group that will include both students and parents. The last two trips,
in 2001 and 2003, included just about as many parents as students, and were that
much more fun!.
