Phy Ed Teacher Lynn Keck
Each class, grades K through 6, has Phy. Ed. each day of the week for 25 minutes.  All classes, upon entering the gym, do a series of exercises and run laps before starting any activity.
Activities in the lower elementary consist of lead up games which prepare the students for more organized games later on.  Examples would be activities involving running, skipping, galloping, sliding, jumping, eye hand and eye foot coordination, and throwing to name a few.  Socialization and getting along are also a big part of Phy. Ed. classes.
The upper elementary activities consist of more organized team orientated games which stress life long activities.  Examples would be softball, flag football, soccer, badminton, basketball, hockey, battle ball, mat ball, and volleyball.  At this level we stress competition and fair play as well as socialization.
